Halos & Horns

''Halos & Horns'' is the 37th studio album by Dolly Parton, released in May 2002.
==History==
Her third album for the independent, roots music label Sugar Hill, the album continued Parton's experimentation with the folk and bluegrass sounds begun on ''The Grass Is Blue'' 1999 and ''Little Sparrow'' 2001. Of the album's songs, perhaps the most noteworthy selection was Parton's folksy cover of Led Zeppelin's classic "Stairway to Heaven" (with which Zep singer Robert Plant was said to be pleased).〔(Robert Plant on Yahoo! Music )〕 "Hello God" was Parton's response to 9/11, while "Shattered Image" and "What a Heartache" were updates of songs Parton had previously recorded. The former was included on her 1976 album ''All I Can Do'' and the latter was originally included on the ''Rhinestone (film)'' soundtrack. It later appeared on the 1991 album ''Eagle When She Flies''.
The album was nominated for three Grammy Awards: in 2002, for Best Country Album and Best Female Country Vocal Performance for "Dagger Through the Heart," and in 2003 for Best Country Vocal Performance for "I'm Gone."
"Dagger Through the Heart" and "I'm Gone" were both released as singles and music videos were filmed and released.
Parton embarked on her first tour in 10 years in support of the album. The sold-out Halos & Horns Tour played the United States and the United Kingdom.
The cover photo was taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
